Udaya Transport (Pvt) Ltd is a road transport and distribution company headquartered in Kadawatha, on the Colombo–Kandy corridor.
We move full truckloads for manufacturers, bottlers and logistics companies: factory to warehouse, plant to plant, and warehouse to market. Our strength is an asset-backed fleet of 43 company-owned vehicles, from 7.5 ft light trucks to 24 ft trucks carrying up to 30 tons, supported by a registered outsourced fleet of 30 vehicles that lets us absorb seasonal peaks without compromising service.
We operate island-wide, every day. Repeat, high-frequency lanes run alongside one-off and multi-drop jobs, all planned and tracked in one system.

Do you provide lorry transport across the whole of Sri Lanka?
Yes. Udaya Transport runs island-wide road transport from our base in Kadawatha, serving all nine provinces, from Colombo and the Western Province industrial zones to Kandy, Galle, Kurunegala, Anuradhapura, Trincomalee, Batticaloa and Jaffna.
What lorry and truck sizes are available for hire?
Our own fleet of 43 vehicles covers six body sizes: 24 ft (20 and 30 ton), 20 ft (15 and 20 ton), 18.5 ft and 16.5 ft (10 ton), and 10.5 ft and 7.5 ft light trucks. A registered partner fleet of 30 more vehicles adds capacity at peak times.
Can you provide dedicated trucks on a monthly contract?
Yes. We assign vehicles to a customer's routes on a monthly basis, with consolidated monthly tax invoicing and a trip-by-trip detail sheet. Many of our FMCG and beverage customers work with us this way.
